The Great Circus Parade and Festival is back this week celebrating the splendor and pageantry of the old-time circus parades of more than a century ago. The festival runs through Saturday at Veteran's Park and the parade takes place on the streets of downtown Milwaukee this Sunday. Designed by Vaughn, Meyer, & Sweet in 1915 it is part of Milwaukee's first municipally owned and operated street lighting system and was designated as a Milwaukee landmark in 1975.

While standing in line waiting to purchase a bottle of water ($3.75 ea.) we snapped this shot of the menu at a concession stand at Miller Park last evening. We thought it was interesting that one of our photographers had purchased a case (24) of the same bottle size this past weekend for $2.89 at a Kwik Trip. We will let you figure the math.
