Alpine Resort No. 9 Blue

We have added this spectactular image of the 9th Hole at the Alpine Resort Golf Course to our CPDupdate.com Golf Courses Gallery. Located in Egg Harbor, Door County, WI it features a panoramic view from atop the Niagara Escarpment overlooking Green Bay waters which highlights this magnificent finishing hole. Factoring in the more than 100-foot drop from tee to green, this short par 4 is reachable from the tee for most hitters, providing a reasonably outside chance for marking an albatross hole-in-one on your scorecard.

Cherry Diner

We have added the image "Cherry Diner" to our CPD Update Urban Environments Gallery. Cherry Diner which is located on 2nd Ave. and Michigan St. in downtown Sturgeon Bay, WI was taken on a recent visit to Door County. The diner is a highly visited restaurant by both the local residents and the tourist crowd. The image was taken on an unusually warm January evening with a Nikon D70 in manual exposure mode, exposure bias F/0.8, exposure time 1/4 second, aperture F/1.2.

Icy Dock & Stick Fence

CPD has added the images "Icy Dock" and "Stick Fence" to our Black & White Gallery. Both images were taken in Door County by our DoorCountystock.com photographers on a gloomy, overcast winter day. "Icy Dock" was taken in Ephraim while "Stick Fence" was taken by the side of the road outside of Egg Harbor.
