We have updated the MKEimages.com "MKE at Night" Gallery with a few new images including this one from photographer David Bernacchi.

Milwaukee in Miniature

We had added a new gallery to the MKEimages.com General Images Collection, "Milwaukee in Miniature". The images in this gallery replicate a photography technique called Tilt-Shift photography with a twist. Miniature imitation is a post-processing technique, which involves selectively blurring a photo to simulate the narrow depth of field found in macro photography and some tilt-shift photography, making the image appear to be of a miniature model.

MKEimages.com Image of the Day - The view from the Blu Bar Lounge on the top floor of the Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee at 424 E. Wisconsin Ave. On the 23rd floor Blu was voted Milwaukee's Best Romantic Bar by the Shepherd Express in their Best of Milwaukee 2007. The image has also been added to the Milwaukee at Night gallery.

MKEimages.com Image of the Day - The Schlitz Audubon Nature Center Exhibits - Watershed across from the Milwaukee Public Market on the Milwaukee River at the corner of St. Paul Ave. and Water St. Located in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward the building is a mini-museum containing exhibts and information on the Milwaukee River watershed. The image has also been added to the MKEimages.com Milwaukee at Night Gallery.

MKEimages.com Image of the Day - While on assignment for a regional magazine we took a few extra shots of the Milwaukee skyline looking East from the top floor of the Fourth and Highland Parking Garage across from the Bradley Center in downtown Milwaukee. MKEimages.com Image of the Day - An aerial view of Miller Park taken by photographer Christopher Cote. The shot was taken with a 50mm prime lens at about 10:30 at night on Feb. 19, 2008. "I was returning to Wisconsin after a business trip in North Carolina.  Our plane made it to Milwaukee, but had computer malfunctions and wasn't advised to land. We had to turn around, head to Chicago and get repaired at O'Hare. After a short stop, we headed back to Milwaukee, but stayed at a relatively low altitude for the whole flight which afforded me such a neat view".
