MKEimages.com Image of the Day - A Tree Grows in Milwaukee. We have walked down this block in downtown Milwaukee hundreds of times but today is the first day that this tree on top of the building at 608-612 N. Broadway was noticed. We would be curious if anyone knows the story.

Oriental Theater

This HDR (High Dynamic Range) image of the Oriental Theater has been added to the MKEimages.com Urban Landscapes Gallery in the Architecture Collection. Located at 2230 N. Farwell Ave. the theater is a landmark on Milwaukee's East Side. Designed in various exotic architectural styles the building was built in 1927. One of Milwaukee's last great movie palaces it originally seated 2500 people.
