Apollo 11 was the spaceflight which landed the first humans, Americans Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, on the Moon on July 20, 1969, at 20:18 UTC. Armstrong became the first to step onto the lunar surface 6 hours later on July 21 at 02:56 UTC.

MKEimages.com Image of the Day - "Sentinels" is a public artwork by American artist Jon Barlow Hudson, located at the bottom of the Brady Street pedestrian bridge over Lincoln Memorial Dr. on Milwaukee's lakefront. It was constructed in March 2005 out of Wisconsin red granite and consists of three monoliths with the tallest one being 15 feet high. Each monolith is features its own unique carved design. Hudson drew his inspiration for this sculpture from ts'ung tubes, which are Chinese jade ritual objects.
